babydoll suggestions for a 2yo?
I would really like to get my daughter a nice baby doll for her birthday. Just something sweet and simple...it doesn't need to "do" anything. Any suggestions?
TIA!

DD
her Raggedy Ann doll...sure, it doesn't look like a real baby, but its by far her favorite of all of her dolls, and its definitely the most simple one she has. MIL loves to buy her the ones that cry, talk, pee, eat, all that stuff (despite the many requests to stop buying dolls because we have WAY too many and are constantly giving them away )...and honestly, DD totally ignores them and always goes back to her Raggedy Ann doll.

Re: babydoll suggestions for a 2yo?
DD loves her Bitty Baby from American Girl. She's been a favorite since her first birthday. For her second birthday/Christmas, we got her clothes for Bitty. She is 4 and still plays with her every single day.

Re: babydoll suggestions for a 2yo?
Thanks for all the suggestions ladies!
We ended up just buying the You and Me Take Along Baby from BRU. It was literally the only baby doll in the store that didn't "do" something. Anyway, for a $7 baby doll, my little girl couldn't be happier! She carries her around the house, sleeps with her, and takes her in the car with us. So, overall a big hit for Jude! I have looked into the bitty babies, and I'd love for her to have one. My MIL is talking about possibly getting my neices American Girl dolls for Christmas, so that might be good to suggest a bitty baby for Jude. Ok, thanks again!
