19 week US

Had my 19 week anatomy scan today. Baby was extremely active, I mean so active they couldn't give me any photos.....lol.

Seen baby butt cheeks since baby is head down right now. US tech made a comment about didn't see anything *boy* part related and called baby a *She* later. BUT we have no photos or anything really confirmed of a girl....lol.

So here I sit kinda bummed with nothing confirmed.

I was told that I get a 3D US in 10 weeks!!! I didn't know that I would get one...lol. So I have 10 weeks to think *possibly* girl but nothing for sure

Yay for an active baby - though sorry you couldn't get the confirmation you were hoping for.

Happy to hear you have a healthy and active baby, but bummer they couldn't confirm the sex for you. 10 weeks will go by fast though, then you'll get some really amazing 3D pics!

Congrats! Sorry your little one forced you into team green, but the no boy parts visible sounds promising. Sounds like your little one was putting on quite a show!

Thanks. I'm struggling right now with being excited. Its like I've been deflated. *sigh* Its hard to explain, but I really wanted to know. I'm not a *team green* person at all....lol.

Its just making everything else so much harder.

That would be tough! I was wondering if that was going to happen at my ultrasound. We would have been on team green for good then because my dh is really against more than one ultrasound. I hope that you get to find out at the next scan. It's so hard to wait!

Congrats on a healthy and active baby!

Re: 19 week US

not sure if it helps you or not, but from what I was told, it is much easier to 'confirm' a boy than a girl, generally with a boy they see the goods and can say yep, boy, but with a girl, it can be a bit trickier if the baby is being elusive, (they don't want to be wrong, so tend to err on the side of uncertainty) so based on no scientific reasoning what so ever, I figure if they are having a hard time telling, despite getting the money shot, I figure girl

Thanks everyone, I'm doing better. To some extent, course getting my husband to even discuss names is pointless as "we have plenty of time"

And if this bean IS a girl he won't budge on the name. I don't hate the girls name he likes I just like another one better. So we might not have a name picked out until we see the bean.....lol
