All Kids/Family Care?

Just occurred to me... we are currently on All Kids & Family Care because my husband is commission based and we still fall within income limits...barely I think but we do.

When we go to foster kids count in our household total and does the stipend count as income. Hadn't even thought of all that.

I heard there may be an opening for a government position (with great benefits) that my husband has plenty of experience for...diesel mechanic. Sure would be nice if he could land that job, if our coverage expires!

Thrifty, homeschooling Mama to 5, 14 yr old K 9 yr old E 4 yr old B , our lil' man 2 yr old H and our newly adopted little princess J Forever missing our foster children J, M, L, L D, & E

Re: All Kids/Family Care?

As far as I understand, it is a stipend, not income.
Mom to my wonderfully sweet toddler who is the joy of our lives. :

I would ask your case worker if foster kids count when counting your family.

Re: All Kids/Family Care?

Foster kids should not count towards total number of family members because they can be gone any day and you are technically not supporting them. And the stipend is not considered income.
