Re: A car seat like the FP stay in view?

I know! I hear ya! Especially for an item that will only fit baby for about 6 months ... which is why I like the Graco SafeSeat Step1 so much -- it fits longer, costs less, is comfy & easy to install.

Re: A car seat like the FP stay in view?

I am now considering just getting a convertible seat since I am usually holding the baby anyways ( even in stores and Dr's offices) that way I am only spending the money once.... and then I iwll invest in a good sling any suggestions on convertibles? I have a Britax that has a date of Feb 2002

Britaxes rarely fit newborns properly Safety 1st Uptown, Sunshine Kids Radian & the new Evenflo Triumph Advance fit newborns well -- Radian tethers RF but may not fit your vehicle as easily as the others ... Triumph Advance keeps kids harnessed almost as long as the Radian & is super easy to use ... Uptown is the least expensive & lightest weight, but has the lowest limits.
