Yeast fix - how much grapefruit and tea tree oil

Ive read about using GSE and/or TTO to get yeast out of diapers. But how much do I use?

I have a front loader, so which little drawer thingie do I put the drops in? With the detergent (I use RG)? in the spot for softener? Bleach? Prewash?

Please please use bleach. I know it sucks, it takes forever to rinse out, its harsh on your diapers and its terrible for the environment. But if you want to kill the yeast spores in your diapers its the only guaranteed way to do it. Please read this thread. http://diaperswappers.com/forum/show...hlight=science

We had big yeast problems with my DD. After doing many different washing strategies, GSE was the only thing that worked. When I first did the GSE, I added 15+ drops to both the wash cycle AND the rinse cycle. I also rewashed EVERYTHING that came into contact with her bum or could have come into contact. I just wanted it gone! After I put her back into cloth and saw there was no rash coming back, I just did the GSE in the rinse as maintenance (maybe 10 drops or so). Typically now, I only use it a couple times a month. We have had no more yeast problems.
