LG FLer soap question

I'm new to cd'ing and I've been using RnG detergent. When I put it in the detergent compartment of my washer, the powder is still there after the cycles run. It looks wet but I'm guessing that because it's a powder, it's not being pulled into the machine. My husband suggested putting it directly into the drum after the pre-rinse but LG's website says not to do that. Has this happened to anyone else? Any suggestions? Thank you in advance for your advice.

Re: LG FLer soap question

Get a small measuring cup. Fill it a little bit with warm water and use a fork or spoon to dissolve the powder. Then pour it into the machine.

The reason you might not want to put it directly in the drum is because the machine doesn't put all of the soap/water into the drum at once. My machine washes for a little while, drains a bit, and adds more soapy water. It does it a few times during the cycle. If you put it all in at once, the concentration of soap will be less and less each time it does that.

I hope that makes sense!
