The only goats milk Ive tried was concentrate from a can... it was DISCUSTING! It tasted like how a billy goat smells! I do like goats cheese, not alone, but on things and in things.

Does fresh goats milk taste better?

Don't know if you make your own bread or if you bought more than one can, but I've read (not tried yet due to cost) that one very good use for canned goat's milk is in bread, particularly ancient grain breads (like spelt and barley).

You've piqued my interest with this thread as I suspect DD might be casein-alpha sensitive like my mom was in early childhood ...

We get fresh raw goats milk. You have to be careful how you care for the goats and the milk to get milk that tastes good. I have been told that Nubian milk has the best taste. It must be cooled for a few hrs without a lid on in an ice chest or freezer right after milking.
