Had a worrisome, sleepless night! Ugh!

I woke up at about midnight to go pee, I look down and the toilet water is PINK! I dabbed myself dry, and the spotting was light, then turned to nothing. I put on a liner to keep an eye on what was going on, and I must have checked like every 20 mins, all night! LOL! No more spotting, which is great!

Should I call my Dr., or just watch and wait to see if anything else happens? This is my 5th pregnancy, you'd think I would be chilled out by now, but it never gets easier/less nerve wracking! LOL!

That is a scare for sure!
Try and rest, drink lots of fluids. Did you do anything strenuous yesterday? Even dtd can cause spotting, any irritation to the cervix. Be careful lifting anything heavy including kids, with ds1, I tore my placenta from my wall and bled a lot just from lifting the trash to throw it out. It was too heavy and I felt a sharp pull about 30 min before the bleeding started.
I hope your fine, for ease of mind, call the dr.

mama! I agree, take it easy today. I wouldn't hesitate to call your Dr. although I assume there isn't anything they can do. ..

Take it easy and call your dr. It never hurts to get that peace of mind and as an added bonus, spotting always means a u/s with my ob. That's the best peace of mind.

I hope you are feeling ok! I know what it's like, and after light spotting for 10 days I said "I may as well get checked out, to put my mind at ease!" So give a call and we'll send out positive thoughts

Ddc but when I was around thirty weeks with my last baby I went pee and stood up and the toilet was filled bright red! I immediately went to the er. They checked for everything even Hemrhoids and did an ultrasound and exam and found nothing. Baby was perfectly fine. Never found our why that happened but just wanted to share a positive story !
