Re: Going out of town CD'ing Q

I wouldn't *ask*. It's your baby, your baby's bum. Seriously, if you were being visited by AF, would you ask to toss the stuff in the trash? That's grosser to me than sticking used stuff in a wetbag to be washed.

If you need to wash, ask to use the machines or just run to a laundry mat.

I just went on a 9 day vacation and used cloth, i never even considered sposies.

Re: Going out of town CD'ing Q

I just bring a zippered wetbag and do laundry when i get home. For a weekend it's not a big deal, we have enough diapers.

Re: Going out of town CD'ing Q

I actually had friends of mine who don't CD offer to wash my diapers. I had enough and didn't want to go through all the rigamoroll to wash there so I said thanks but we'll wait. I was so surprised. I guess if I went somewhere and they said no I'd go the the laundromat and probably not stay there again.

To ask if you can use CDs in her house? No need to ask permission on that one IMO. If you want to wash there, ask if she minds if you wash your cloth diapers at her place and if not, where is the nearest laundry mat... no biggie

Re: Going out of town CD'ing Q

Thanks for all the advice. The question really was about the machine washing, but I think you all got that (sorry I wasn't more clear). Also, I don't know why I said weekend, I will be there 5 days and I don't want that much backed up laundry . I will go ahead and bring them, and ask to use her washer. If she has a problem, I can always go to the local laundry mat (like you all said). I forgot about those Anywho, thanks again ladies. Good points too about bf'ing and visits from af.
