Re: Working out?
Amy - we have a bunch of stroller strides around here. I have a crappy stroller though. I'm trying to talk myself into getting a nice BOB duallie. My thrift store jogger isn't cuttin it anymore

Re: Working out?
It's definitely worth the money! But don't let that keep you from checking out Stroller Strides, there are moms in my classes using Graco snap and Go things or travel systems. Most have Bobs though. I used an Uppa Baby Vista for DS until he out grew it this winter, now I use a Baby Jogger City Mini which works fine for most of our locations. One of them has cobblestone paths which is doesn't to that well on but otherwise it's fine for jogging on flat roads or paved paths.

Re: Working out?
Oooo Nickel! Fun. I seriously need to look into double strollers now! I am thinking BOB, but I've heard good things about Phil&Ted so I need to do research. I think I can find a BOB on craigslist if I search for a while. I also want a light weight sit and stand for quick trips to the store and such.

Re: Working out?
At this point I would need a jogging bus
If I really felt motivated enough to jog I am sure I could get the older 2 to ride their bikes and put L and the newbie in a jogger.

Re: Working out?
[QUOTE=Nickel+2;13063450]Well, I just ordered myself a new jogger
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/re...uct/B001GAPUAI Since this will be #3 I think I am going to buy this too.... http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS.../chrisficti-20 I love new strollers! The hitchhiker thing is a good idea too. I'm planning to get one for DS next year for non-running outings where his legs might get tired since he'll be 4 I figure his stroller days are numbered other than Stroller Strides which he will have to put up with being in a stroller until he's old enough to be trusted to ride a bike or scooter while we run.

My Stroller Strides instructor has 4 kiddos, two in the stroller and either both older kids ride their bikes or one is on the hitchhiker/rider board type thing and one riding a bike on days when she can't find activities for them to do. She amazes all of us!

There's no need to do that this early and even later on MOST women can still do them safely. You need to check to make sure your abs aren't splitting and avoid twisting in the third tri. Limit time on your back in later months too but otherwise there's no need to stop them completely.
