Re: Anyone nursing?

I'm only occasionally nursing my 21 month DD but I'm pretty much only getting drops already so im not worried about drying up.

Re: Anyone nursing?

I'm nursing, but I'm purposefully weaning my son next week when he turns 2. I've known a lot of women who nursed through a pregnancy with no problem, but Others have strugged. I hope its easy for you!!!

I'm playing it by ear. DD is 23 months and mostly comfort nurses at this point. I already dropped the morning feeding a couple months ago so we're down to nursing occasionally before her nap and before bed time.

I can't really tell if my supply is dropped but I think it has slightly. I'm still going to try and go until she self weans but my nips are kind of hurting ...so we'll see!

I'm still nursing my 11 month old. My supply has definietely dropped but I am finally getting my milk to let down again. I nursed my oldest DS until 7-8 months pregnant when he weaned himself. I plan to let Fox nurse until he's done.

Re: Anyone nursing?

I'm nursing my 20mo who still nurses frequently during the day and about 2x at night. I plan to keep nursing him as long as he's into it or I can stand it. My nips are definitely more sensitive, but it's still tolerable right now. He's VERY into his nursies, so I don't see him weaning. I'm happy to tandem nurse, but I am planning to night wean him so I don't have to nurse two at night!

I still feel let-down and hear him gulping, but he's also started eating a lot more solids lately, so I don't know if that's just developmental or if my supply has gone down. But I'm happy that he is more into solids finally, so I don't have to worry so much if my supply goes way down.

There is one milk boosting supplement that is safe while pg. . .it's basically just RRL, nettle and alfalfa in a tincture ( http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS.../chrisficti-20 ), but I do a herbal infusion of those herbs while pg anyway, so hoping it helps.

I'm still nursing my 18 month old. I'm just kind of playing it by ear. If she weans, she weans, if not, then okay, I guess.

Re: Anyone nursing?

My nursling is just about 15 months, I haven't had any complaints from him yet about my supply. I'll be eating lots of oats, hoping he'll keep nursing until he decides he's ready to call it quits =)
