At least that is what DH calls my freakish smelling abilities when I am pg. Honestly I think it is half the problem for causing my ms. If I smell somethiing disagreeable or just plain too strong I am running. this morning I lost it tryng to feed the dog, b/c her food was too smelly. Diaper changes are getting real interesting around here

Not an important thread, I just wondered if anyone shared my misery.

I would have to run out of places because of smells. Has it lasted your whole pregnancy before or just the morning sickness stage?

Oh yeah. I had it with DD too. And, at the time I got PG with her, I was a volunteer dog walker at our local Humane Society and my shift was Sunday morning which is when they hosed down the kennels. Wet dog and dog poo smell mixed with cleaning product smell was enough to make me gag a little every time I went in there. But it all worked out. Picking up their runny poo on the walks was also interesting.

I am also currently gagging when I change DD's poopy diaper...well, actually it's when I go to spray it...

Yeah DH made himself a Chai Latte last night and was sitting on the far side of the room but the smell was sooo overpowering! My entire life the smell of bananas has made me nauseous, last pp with the heightened sense of smell with was HORRIBLE! So not looking forward to that. Especially when we fly, it seems like everyone thinks they need more potassium to fly and eats a freaking banana

Plus when we fly without DS we fly in business class (under DH's benefits DS can't fly up there until he is 6 - don't want employee's kiddos disrupting the high paying customers) and they pass around a snack basket on every flight with BANANAS in it and I swear everyone but me and DH (cause I won't let him) takes one. But even in the airport I could smell a banana three gates away

THe smell of toothpaste made me so sick with my son. But I actually haven't had it yet this time around still early though.

I am glad to know I am not alone. Even things that I think smell good under normal circumstances and just sooooo strong now they make me gag.

I started to list the things that really bother me but it was embarassingly long
