How long do I boil

My JB hemparoo premiums to prep them? And do I keep them on a rolling boil on the burner or boil the water and take them off the heat while they sit in the hot water? I have the water boiling right now! Thanks so much in advance ladies!!!

Re: How long do I boil

Here's what I've done:

Boil them continuously for 20 minutes with a squirt of Dawn
Change the water and boil again for 20 minutes (no dawn)

Throw them in the washer water and all and wash then dry then wash and dry again

I usually give my hemp a good 15 minutes in a rolling boil. Good luck!

Re: How long do I boil

I think anywhere from 15-25 minutes on a rolling boil works. I let them cool off then pop them in the washer. I have had many 'boiling' days... as I prefer boiling them to washing over and over.
