AFM - The garden didn't start so well this year due to lots of rain and cold in May. But I've got lots of lettuce, carrots, snap peas spinach, green peppers, tomatoes, onions and corn! And a my herbs are going bonkers...and we also have a raspberry patch.

I planted a garden! I have Zucchini, tomato, chard, strawberries, spaghetti squash, spinach, lettuce, carrots, crookneck squash, cucumber and watermelon It is our first garden and I am super excited. We have it in my grandparents back yard. They live about 3 blocks away, and just happened to have raised garden beds not being used with a watering system so I asked if I could use it.

Re: February Weekly Chat | June 12-18

Hi everyone! We got back from vacation yesterday afternoon, and started bible school this morning...I am pooped!

We don't have a garden, but I did plant flower beds this year Impatiens and geraniums. Although I am kind of bitter because the girls that house sat/watched our dog while we were gone didn't water them, even though I asked them too, so some of my geraniums bit the dust, and there are a ton of weeds in my flower beds... Oh well, they took good care of our dog and that was the priority

Hope everyone has a great day!

DH planted the flowerbeds as i was recovering from egg collection, but he did a lovely job! No garden here though. Your gardens sound lovely though!

I planted one, a container garden. We have tomatoes, potatoes, green beans, and lettuce. The tomatoes are doing good, not so sure about the others ,I think I put too many seeds in and now they are getting crowded.

Re: February Weekly Chat | June 12-18

Went to a knitting playdate this morning. I'm so glad I bought Sea Bands cause it was getting hard to knit through the nausea and now I feel soooo much better. Still ahve a little slight queasiness when I got hungry but nothing like yesterday! No runs to the bathroom so far. I hope these things keep working!

No food garden here and I have a black thumb so a landscaper takes care of everything else. Our tiny little townehouse "lawn" is entirely landscaped so I HAD to hire someone. It looked HORRID until I found someone.

oh we planted a garden too. This is my third year, I am still not a very good farmer but we have a good time with it. I planted zucchini, tomatoes, green peppers, lettuce, green onions, peas, watermelons, beans, and basil. Honestly we got soooooo much rain early that things weren't sprouting, now thye are coming along, but not as well as I hoped.

Oh, I wish we had a real garden, I always did growing us and it's so nice. But since we'd have to build box gardens to have any hope of growing anything in the place we live now, all we did was three tomato plants. Hope we get a few good tomatoes out of that!
