Accident in the wash

So I am building up my stash for our new baby expected august 8, and i had a package of brand spankin new lil joeys, a swaddlebees wool cover and baby beehinds bamboo fitted sitting by the back door that i intended to prep myself. WELL... the cleaners came, and ostensibly trying to be helpful, threw the whole lot into the wash without my noticing. The only detergent we have ( I think) is a free n clear method, but there is a possibility they used something else... also, everything was machine dried... is this disastrous?i am most worried about the bamboo and wool, i think the lil joeys are supposed to be machine wash/dryable the wool cover definitely shrunk a little but doesnt look pilly or like the texture has changed at all. Should I just lanolize it and hope for the best? its my first wool cover ;( i was so excited to receive it... What should I do? Im new at this, so any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Just lanolize it and it should be fine! If it felted a little it will be slightly more water resistant and a little smaller. But it says they are machine washable on gentle/cold so its likely that they can take more than that.
Good luck.

Re: Accident in the wash

I saw a post yesterday where someone accidentally had an interlock cover sneak in with regular dipe laundry and the only difference is that it was cleaner than it had ever been!
