Re: Did painful movement mean large baby for you?

My biggest baby did hurt the most. But for me, it seems the LOWER they are the worse it is.

Re: Did painful movement mean large baby for you?

my 10lb 6 oz boy hurt the most while I was carrying him. Just physically lugging him around in my belly hurt My other 2 were smaller, but not small by most people's definition, and they hurt me too, but differently. My oldest was the smallest, and the most active (still is) I think it could have a lot to do with personality too, more than size.

That's my guess too. This boy is sooo active and yes, it does hurt more than I remember with my first. But more than weight, I just feel like he is going to be longer. I often have pains in both my cervix and ribs at the same time. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised with a hubby who is 6'3".

DD beat the crap out of me and she was a lot smaller than DS so that rule didn't apply here. She's just feisty

Re: Did painful movement mean large baby for you?

I only have one child so I can't personally say (the other in my belly is too young for hard kicks) but my SIL had the opposite.

Her DS1 was 9 lbs at 2 weeks early and her DS2 was 7 lbs on time. She had much more painful movements with the second one. She swore he was going to be bigger than her first but obviously, that was very far off from the truth.
