How much do you pay for daycare?

We'll be paying $1089 for one child While I'm going to school making no money!! I'm sure glad DF is supportive of me going to school!

That's what daycare is like here too. I'm looking at $1400-1500/mo if I go back to work. That'll be for a 1yo and a 7.5 yo in after-school care. I'm going to be staying home.

2yrs ago it was 17$/day here for 2+ and 18 or 19 for less than 2

where my kids used to go it was around $24 - $30 a day depending on the age of the child. They used to raise the rates about every year or other year but she only raised it $1/day each time. I would have freaked at a sudden $5 per day rate raise....that would have been $25 per week $100 per month. Also she notified us of the change in the fall and it would be effective jan 1. So that the parents could make arrangements or change the flexible spending accts for daycare. So anyways i think your rate sounds okay but that seems like a steep change all at once

Come September my little one is going to daycare. The infant room is $970 a month at the place he is enrolled at.
