My Mood:
I's either go with yelled or just get infant prefolds. They fit my kids great for almost a year and aren't as bulky as gmd prefolds. I depth to red edge around then.

Blah blah blah autocorrect....

Re: can I buy larger pfs for a newborn and fold down?

I wouldnt skip that nb size, the orange edge fits perfectly in the nb covers. yellow would be too bulky i think. Infant green edged size is as wide as GMD orange but longer, or as long as GMD yellow but narrower, if i recall correctly.

Lots of people use infant size and fold down the rise. I liked the short rise and extra width of GMD bc i liked how they are sized to fit into nb/sm/med covers without folding down the rise. Makes trifolding easy and the end result less bulky, esp on a newborn. GMD orange then yellow then red would take you almost to potty learning. Some people do like the thinner/longer infant pfs tho, depends on the fold you like to use and if you like width in a pf.
happy mama to sweet B. and amazing A.
