Re: Would you nurse someone else's baby?
I would definitely nurse a close friend or family member's baby if they asked.

Re: Would you nurse someone else's baby?
Yup. I would nurse any baby if someone needed me to, emergency or not. I also would be fine with another (healthy) woman nursing my ds if needed for some reason.
eta: on the intimate note... I don't find it very intimate. I feel close to my baby when I nurse him, but I get the same feelings when I give him a bottle too. And I felt the same when I spoon fed my older ds. So I guess it's not the breastfeeding itself that gives me the warm fuzzies as just meeting the needs of the baby in general.

Re: Would you nurse someone else's baby?
I would and have--it is not a big deal. Babies get hungry, they need to eat.

I would. My aunt nursed me while my mother worked for the first year of my life. My cousin is 3 months older so we were close in age. My other aunt nursed my younger brother. (my mom also nursed my cousins). My cousin nursed another cousins daughter. I'm sure if I lived back home I'd be nursing my cousins babies and they mine.
My sister puts her kids on formula right away and I'm sure her dh would be grossed out by me nursing my nephews.

Absolutely!
And I also wish our babysitter (a good friend) could BF my daughter instead of having to give her tiny bits of milk from a medicine dropper. She refuses to take bottles. Ugh. |

Re: Would you nurse someone else's baby?
Would nurse another baby If it was nessesary and the mom asked. I would also give dd donated milk if I wasn't able to provide for her.
