Re: looking like this will be preemie #2

Still here, though probably not much longer. 28 weeks today, BP inching up, meds basically maxed out....so I'm betting within the week we'll be moving out of antepartum and off to labor & delivery. Everything else looks good though - baby is a hair above average for size, passing BPPs with flying colors, so here's hoping for a short NICU stay

Re: looking like this will be preemie #2

I have 3 preemies, and 2 full term babies...my 1st preemie (2nd child) was 35 weeks, my 4th AND 5th babies were both preemies born at 33 and 29 weeks...it was a completely different rollercoaster ride for all 3! Good luck!

Re: looking like this will be preemie #2

My laptop decided to stop working, so I'm a bit behind on updates, but...

Miss B was born Wednesday the 25th, 28 weeks 1 day, weighing just a hair over two pounds. She's doing quite well in the NICU, on CPAP with no extra oxygen. We've had her on nasal cannula for holding the last couple of days, which is way better - we can do skin to skin that way - but we're trying to get her PDA to close, so they don't want to push too hard towards no CPAP right now. She got her first breastmilk today at lunch time

Congrats Mama! Having 2 micorpreemies I know how it's such a double edged sword to been a BTDT family. It's nice to know what to expect, but on the other hand not so much
