NB diapers on a 6lb baby - pic heavy
I know lots of people don't have to worry about diapering teeny tinys, but my DD didn't fit in anything until she was 4 months old, and I was determined to have a stash that fit this time without being outrageous. I also love flats on my toddler and thought I'd love 'em on my newbie... so here are some photos of him at 6lbs in his stash!
In the first 6 days, before his cord fell off the ONLY thing that fit below his cord was the LaDiDa pattern fitteds that I made for him out of old t-shirts and the Bummis Super Brites in NB size. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Ikea flats in a mini-origami fold with a GroVia snap shell. The cover looks huge, bug it didn't leak! ![]() ![]() ![]() a 70cm square muslin flat, exact size and texture of the Ikea flats... with 2 "newborn' covers that just didn't fit! ![]() ![]() prowrap - why don't the tabs cross over??? ![]() ![]() Bummis SWW ![]() ![]() my least favorite- the TinyG (also showing it stuffed with a preemie PF vs. their size small flushable) photos were taken with the prefold in it- they fit even worse with the flushable ![]() ![]() ![]() FB XS ... just comical at 6lbs ![]() ![]() Hands Down most used diaper in our stash: GroVia NB AIO ![]() ![]() Tot Bots bamboo fitted- love this for overnight- under a WAHM wool soaker ![]() ![]() ![]() and just because he's a cutie... and was so patient with the photos! this was a tiny tiny tiny outfit, it is over a GroVia NB. ![]() thanks for letting me show off my stash!

If I would have known my 6 pounder wouldn't fit in size smalls I would have gotten a better nb stash! At 4 weeks old she is finally fitting into things
![]() Those are some good options though, I'm going to have to remember those for LO #2 thanks!

Re: NB diapers on a 6lb baby - pic heavy
I'm just having this dilemma now: what to buy for the NB stash? So,
! We're having our first, so I have no idea how big she'll be, but I was only 5 lbs. at birth, and my sister's DD was 5 lbs and DS 6 lbs so I'm guessing pretty small.

Re: NB diapers on a 6lb baby - pic heavy
My three babes were all in the upper 5 lbs range.
Love the tiny baby pics. ![]() I used the superbrite covers and loved those. The Grovia are super cute. The xs FB - looks like a picture I have of an xs BG. HUGE - LOL
