Boiling BG

Has anybody boiled BG OS before?

I'm trying to get the stink and the repelling out of my dipes, but our stupid HE washer is getting them hot enough.

I know the manufacturer tells you not to, and I was wondering how it will affect the dipes.

I have heard of people boiling the mf inserts but I believe the outsides would delanminate and have issues with the elastic as pp had suggested. Have you stripped the diapers? When I have stink issues I use a little bit of bleach and with our hard water I need more detergent to get them to not stink.

Try stripping with dish soap in the bath tub. Let them soak for a good hour. Swish around several times every 10 minutes or so. You'd be surprised how grimy the water will get.

Re: Boiling BG

thanks!

I was thinking about just doing the MF. And I will try them in the bathtub, that will be more convenient than having to run downstairs. I was also thinking about scrubbing the covers a little before soaking them. Day care used some cream and didn't use a liner, so I was hoping that would work on those.
