Why is there such a huge jump in prefold sizes?

I had infant PFs initially but DD was really big so I moved on up to lavender Zabis (similar to GMD reds I think?) after she was about 1 month and they are just seeming a little snug already. They definitely still fit but I could see her not being able to use them too much longer - at least not snappied and I don't like to trifold. She's only 2 months and around 15 lbs. But the next size up is HUGE - just really long!! Why can't there be something in between? Any suggestions?

oh my gosh, zabi lavenders are too BIG at 1 month!? They are fitting my 13 month old with room to spare. The zabi lavenders are narrower and an inch shorter than the GMD reds, so maybe you could try the reds.

You could use pins and get a good fit with those. Also your baby will slow down and their body will change. My DD went to reds at 5 months and I was sure she would only wear them for a couple months max but she is still in them now at 16 months. She thinned out a lot. There is no way I could snappi them but pinning gets SUCH a good fit I never snappi prefolds anymore. You could also try flats and then you wouldn't ever have to worry about sizing again.

All that!!!! Used the snappi and had the same problem...DS was 16 lb at 2 months. I bought pins just to try and now I play around with pfs and flats way more.

Sent from my HTC HD...my phone is to thank for typos.
