Diaper Swappers

I'm sure this question is asked elsewhere, but I've been searching and can't find it. I have some ammonia in my night dipes and I want to clear it out - it's the first stink we've had in a year.

I just did a sanitary cycle with tide + bleach, and now I realized maybe I should have stripped with Dawn first. Can I strip now, or is that backwards somehow?

I assume I just put a squirt of Dawn on the dipes (we have a HE FL, so it doesn't make sense to put it in the detergent drawer, does it?). And then I wash on hot and rinse? Have I got that right? Or should I wait and see if the bleach worked and skip the stripping?

no harm in doing it now the dawn & bleach do 2 different things. bleach kills the funk & the dawn gets it out

If it were me, I would wait and see how the bleach worked.
