I would be scared the iron would melt the PUL but that's just me! Maybe someone has tried it?

i have used iron ons before with no problem, i ironed them on then stitched them down just to make sure they wouldnt come off and sealed the back with pul to cover the stitch holes and it works great

A friend made me some diapers and I had iron on patches which she ironed to the fitted outer fabric and sewed them down as well then she sewed the diaper together and they have held up very nicely

Re: can you use iron on patch on diapers?

I made dd a ton of nb/sm Beccabottoms PUL covers, with velvet iron-ons... we used them for 3 months and they still looked new when I sold them But, I did NOT wash on hot, I wash all my PUL on warm and line dry. I wouldn't use hot... and I wouldn't dry them in the dryer either.....

Some custom beccabottoms I made when I was helping the new wahm last winter... These are PUL with embroidered iron-ons ironed and then sewn on:

On some wool covers (velvet iron-ons on the one on the right):

Matching Sister AI2's (Embroidered iron-ons ironed and then sewn:

Velvet Iron-On...

On an organic UT fitted:

Ok ok you get the idea... it can be done.
