I am looking for any recommendations for great reusable nursing pads!

With my 3yo DS I ended up using disposables ... which were fine, I just really dislike only being able to use anything once before it has to go in the trash can

I remember trying a couple of reusable pads, but had a really hard time finding something that felt comfortable and wasn't *too* bulky. Now I'm awaiting the arrival of two new little nurslings (yep! - having twins!) and I'd love to find something that works ... any recommendations?

Also, how many sets of reusable nursing pads do I need?

I like Bamboobies. there are trim, heart-shaped PUL-backed ones for day and thick non-waterproof (but SUPER absorbent) ones for night.

Though we haven't found the love for wool diapers, I adored my Lanacare wool nursing pads. Yes, they're big, but I found that smaller pads left a visible ring through my clothing. They are comfy and comforting, help with sweating too, and conform to the breast shape well. You'll need to size up on nursing bras, though.

I also got a pair of Onguard merino wool pads, that were a bit bulkier, and not as pliant.

Oh, and congrats on the twins!

Cow Belle on Hyenacart makes really nice nursing pads, and I have not had any issues with them showing through my clothing. I can wear them at night with leaking constantly from engorgement (ds is only 2 weeks old) and they have not leaked or made me feel damp at all!

ETA: I have found 6 pairs to be plenty to have on hand, I could get by with less, but like knowing I have plenty on hand!

I've been using pads from Pampered Mama (here and hyena cart) and really like them. I have six pairs and have found that that's enough for me. I throw them in with whatever laundry I happen to be doing.

And 6 sets has worked well since we wash every other day. If I didn't use a breast shield on the opposite side while feeding though, I'd need more.
