Outer Tag on Wool Soaker Smells like Pee....

I have a pair of WCW Soakers that were freshly lanolized and cleaned with CJ's Wool Wash. My daughter has worn it 2X for nights only and i noticed this funny smell.

The whole soaker smells clean except the Back Outside Tag that is put on REEKS of Urine....

YUCK What should i do? Wash again and focus on the tag area? Anyone else ever noticed this or am i just strange

Can you just wash the tag area. I wonder if the material of the tag is absorbing urine? I might just remove the tag for now if possible, keep it so you can put it back on later.

Its Sewn on and if i remove it, i dont think it would be good for the wool....i guess i will just wash the tag area again and see if it helps.
