jenn, i gotta ? for yupls.david has all his vax but not one that you suppose to give them at age 4. whichone is that one? i dont wanna do it if i dont have to (im scared his apraxia might caused by the vaxes although he never ever had fever or anything with them). also, if healready got all of this, can i NOT give him boosters? boosters are impt?? can someone talkt o me about boosters pls? what boosters do they suppose to get. thanks a bunch

I am nit sure whch he would have missed at 4.
ore and more boosters get added to our already full immunization schedule. If you re considering a booster shot I would firs ask your doctor to do a simple blood test to check his titers. This will show whether he has immunity for whatever you are immuniing against. Sometimes it is boosters tht cause the reaction because their little bodies HAVE imunity and we are still adding more. Does that make sense? Sorry I am super tired and probably talking jibberish at this point! HTH

Okay, can anyone help me out here? I am due for Lucy's one year check up, and am researching vax stuff right now. I am not going to give her the MMR or pox yet, but what I'm confused about is the ones that she is due for the 4th dose of. (Dtap, HIB, and PCV). Can anyone point me to a link or tell me what the fourth dose is for, why its needed, and what happens if it is skipped? All the info I'm looking at is basicly stuff on whether or not to get the shots, but I haven't found info on stopping midway. Thanks!

I don't do any Hep Shots....a new one since DS has had 2 of his Hep B already but next month I'm not getting the third. I also won't do Pox, and more than likely any flu or pneumonia either....those last two are iffy but no Hep shots (A or B), no Pox, and possibly no MMR.
