Re: Midwife issues
If you don't feel fully comfortable with her and don't fully trust her, find someone else. Trust your gut. It's there for a reason.

Re: Midwife issues
I think if you don't like her, it's going to stick in your mind associated w/ the birth of your baby, so I don't think it's too late to switch. Plus, you need to have a good relationship w/ her in order for things to work as they are supposed to! Good luck!

Re: Midwife issues
Are there any ob and midwife practices near you? The practice I go to delivers at the hospital but a midwife delivers you unless you NEED an OB. So for my son the OB came in to do the vacuum when it was deemed necessary by the midwife but he totally deferred to her for all decisions on how to proceed. For me it's the best of both worlds.
Totally not to late to switch it you aren't happy! |

Thanks everyone. I have a MW appointment on the 2nd. I am going to bring up my concerns one last time and if we can't find some resolution I will just have to switch. I am pretty sure my hospital has MW but I may just go back to the OB that delivered my first two kids. With a very clear birth plan in hand.
