Nipple Pain with 13 month old

I have the pain 80% of the time I'm nursing, it just changes in intensity during feeds and on different days. This has been the case for a few months. It did go away for a couple months but then returned.

The pain is defiantly related to nursing. I've never had the pain increase when I'n not nursing (outside of generally sore nipples all the time when pregnant and first starting to nurse). If it hurts when I'm not nursing, I'm pretty sure it is lingering pain. I think that means it isn't reynolds syndrome. I've actually looked into that several times before (I have very sensitive nipples the whole time I am nursing or pregnant) and always end up with the conclusion that this isn't the issue. I could be wrong though.
