Re: Heart beat?

If they are doing a transvaginal ultrasound, you will most likely be able to hear it that early. If it's just a doppler, you won't be able to for a few more weeks.

Re: Heart beat?

if your sure, even with late ovulation that your 6 weeks 3 days you should be able to without an issue transvaginally. I had u/s at 6 weeks 3 days and 7 weeks with both my boys and saw their heartbeats.

When did you ovulate? You should be able to see a heartbeat on an U/S about 4 weeks after conception. HTH!

Doesn't matter how late you ovulated- are you counting your 6w3d from actual LMP, or did you adjust it to be correct from O?

I highly doubt you'll be able to HEAR it, we never could on any of mine, even at 8wks, but you should be able to SEE it

Re: Heart beat?

I was unable to hear mine at 6.5 weeks transvaginal. But I had twins, so maybe you will. I hope so! The u/s tech told me 7-7.5 weeks is average.

Re: Heart beat?

Most people do, but it's not anything to freak-out over if you don't. It's still pretty early.

Re: Heart beat?

With DD1, I had a ABDOMINAL u/s at 6 weeks and we saw and heard the HB. She was going to do vaginal but got such a clear picture with abdominal that she said it wasn't worth the work of doing it the other way.
