Re: can you use pfs from birth?

prefolds are the best nb diaper imo. They start to bug me when babe gets a little mobile and the diaper bulk gets in the way, but a newborn doesn't really move much!

Re: can you use pfs from birth?

My son is two weeks. We mostly use prefolds. At night we use cheap Kushies AIOs that I bought used, but during the day I use the prefolds and love it. I have both preemie and infant prefolds. The preemie are too small but I use them for extra absorbancy. I do a newspaper fold, but trifolding would work just as well (well, except with the wool).

I used pfs from the time my dd was born. They're pretty bulky in the beginning, but they grow so fast it doesn't take long for them to fit! I wish I'd known about flats when I had a newborn. I think they would work great and are super cheap too!

Re: can you use pfs from birth?

I used them on my DD when she was a NB. I started out with infant sized (she was 7lbs.,7oz.). The jelly roll fold worked best for the first 6 months because it kept in the BF poo. Now that she is in premiums I prefer the bikini twist because it takes up more diaper and makes for a trimmer fit.

Re: can you use pfs from birth?

I'm totally new and learning before the baby even gets here, but what's the best way to use a pf on a nb?? I've seen where a few of you have said folding inside a liner...what sort of liner? Are there other different ways to use the pfs? Wow, I think my questions seem a little ignorant...I'm brand new to EVERYTHING about babies!!!
