I have had it for about 10 -11 months. It isn't really grungy by the head, but more so in the seat from her dirty bum from playing at the park or the beach and from various snacks and drinks. It washes up ok. It is looking dirty right now but only in the seat. I was about to wash it. I can wash it and let you know how it turns out!

I am trying to devide between the two
I like them both a lot! Really, you can't go wrong. The RA55 really does have all the best ease of use features that makes people love Britax seats! I chose the BV70 as our primary vehicle seat for the headwings, which do seem comfy to nap on. I don't change the harness height enough to make the easy adjust harness necessary (plus it takes like 1 min to change the harness slots on the RA55). When I factor in the price, I prefer the RA55 and sometimes I wish I pocketed the $100 and got 2 RA55s.

let me know if you do! I just love the print. And I figure that it wouldn't get as hot as other prints that are really dark. But I don't want it looking bad in a few months you know.

Ok, I will update you. We are actually moving tomorrow and all wknd so I won't be getting to wash it till next week, but I definitely will be washing it then. It needs it!
I really think it is a good looking seat and I adm really happy with it. I think all seats can get grungy but if you wash it often enough then the dirt won't get set it. I bought it because I thought it wouldn't be as hot, like you said, and I am finding this to be true! It is worth every penny IMO. I'll be back next week with before and after pics

Re: Can I see pics of your kids in Britex seats?

I can go find/take some pictures if you need more.

My little guy fit in his Diplomat at 5 weeks old. Maybe it was 4, I don't remember. But my husband said "can the baby ride home with me?" and I said "I haven't tried him in that seat yet, if he fits, yes, if he doesn't, no." and he fit and they were significantly under his shoulders. I was shocked.

My little guy is 11 1/2 months old now and we have the diplomat still as well as the boulevard70.

I'm looking at the RA55 vs the MA70. Would one of the 2 last longer rfing? Or are they the same rfing?
