Do lanolin stains come out?

I just got a Stacinator supposedly in EUC, but there are big grease looking lanolin stains on it (thats what the mamma said it is). It looks bad, will it come out???????

try washing and doing spot cleaning with baby shampoo and then relanolizing. If that doesn't work you may have to use dawn (the dishwashing stuff original blue) on it and then relanolize it a couple of times to get the lanolin back on it...fyi i've never done the dawn thing but that's what i'm told works when it's bad.

Yep, fill your sink with warm water (bath tub warm), add some Dawn, and soak the wool. It should come right out. Then wash and lanolize like normal. The wool should be super clean after that

I tried dawn on a luxe that has bad lanolin stains on it.... never came out.

I hope it comes out! I wasn't expecting there to be big stains on it like this!

i use dawn alot on mine cause i really suck at lanolizing! Its always worked well for me! Gets them super clean! However if there was bad lanolin spotting i would think the mama would have mentioned it. I always mentioned it in my posts since i was so bad with the lanolin

what happened is that i lanolized it after selling...before sending. i did tell her that there were some lanolin stains on it...and that they should come out either after wear or she could try getting them out. but i assure you that it IS lanolin...i wouldnt lie about it.
