I just put my index finger on top of my nipple and hold it with my middle finger and my thumb. Then I find his mouth with my index finger when I move my index finger he latches on. It sounds complicated but we do it all in the dark in a matter of seconds.

We leave the shower light in the bathroom on and that gives us just enough light. Sometimes I use my cell phone instead. I'm bigger than a 36Dd right now, but not sure how much bigger.

Re: HOW do you nurse in the dark?

We have a mobi glomate for nighttime but we co-sleep and usually, he just finds him way to my breast. He's 5 months.

Re: HOW do you nurse in the dark?

I have a lamp next to the bed with a dimmer on it and leave it on all night turned down really low. Ds is sleeping through the night most nights, but I leave it on just in case. I'm a 34G and have to see what I'm doing for the initial latch on. Then I can doze back off while he eats.

Re: HOW do you nurse in the dark?

He has always been able to latch on in the dark, at least since he was a few days old. I never thought about it, but I guess since I'm an A (more like AA when not breastfeeding), he can't really miss the nipple

Re: HOW do you nurse in the dark?

We keep our closet light on when we have a baby in bed with us. It's mostly so I can see the baby at night, not so much for bfing. I can't say that I really put much thought into latching once the baby is a few months old. LOL. That sounds terrible, but by then they're old enough to kind of find it themselves. I have woken up with some hickeys in interesting places.
