Crib mattress

I am looking at mattresses for my son's crib. He has destroyed his, He bit the vinyl, ripped a hole, and tore out the batting. I really need one that is tear resistant, what do you have?


Has anyone else had this problem?

I'd look for one with a fabric cover. I put a fitted sheet protector on ours then flat sheet protectors and a really tight sheet so there is no way he can destroy it. I'd maybe call the company and talk to them as it should be made well enough a child can't destroy it.

Thanks, Im pretty sure it was a kolcraft mattress and it only had one layer of vinyl. I should call them, I called last week asking about a tear proof mattress and they acted like they had never heard of such a thing lol.
