covering a fitted?

Okay ... I have some DARLING fitteds but I don't reach for them too often because I hate to cover them up. What's the point of a darling printed fitted just to slap on an ugly cover? I do have some that have matching covers, those get used. My cute zoo animal printed peewell doesn't get used much at all though because I just hate to cover it up. I need some clear covers! Do those exist? LOL

I should mention that I am almost physically incapable of putting a cover that doesn't match over a diaper. I *can* do a solid cover over a printed diaper or a printed cover over a solid diaper (can but usually don't), but beyond that, it has to match. (and the solid and print have to match, regardless.)

What do y'all do? I see all these darling fitteds ... do y'all just put any old cover over them?

Re: covering a fitted?

We go coverless or use wool or fleece covers.

Lots of coverless days around here.
I'm also a stickler for matching. We use wool over fitteds most of the time that they're covered.

Re: covering a fitted?

I totally agree with you and that's why I have plain fitteds and cute wool covers

I can't go coverless with fitteds-- my DS is too much of a super soaker.

Re: covering a fitted?

I'm all about the wool. DS isn't a soaker during the day, so we can go coverless. Morning and nights-wool or fleece!

Re: covering a fitted?

hm ... coverless. Maybe I'll be brave and try it. He doesn't seem to be a huge soaker so maybe that will work for a little while.

If that doesn't work ... I'll go with the pretty cover and blah fitted look. LOL

Thanks ... why didn't it occur to me that he *could* go coverless?

We go coverless a lot or wool over. In a pinch, I'll put a boring white BSWW over but I don't really like covering up cute fitteds either.
