Re: HOW do you nurse in the dark?

I had to turn a lamp on. Otherwise, i fell asleep.
Since I nursed in a rocking chair, I would wake up with a neck cramp.

Re: HOW do you nurse in the dark?

I honestly haven't given this any thought in months. I used a night light for the first 5 months and somewhere around 6 months, I stopped turning on the light. DD is now 10 months old and I'm not sure if I even open my eyes some nights. I just unclip the nursing tank, plop out my boob, pull DD closer, and she finds the nipple 95% of the time. I have street light outside my window, so my bedroom isn't pitch black. Perhaps it's just enough light for night feedings? When we spend the night at my MIL house, I do find that I need a night light. She lives in the boon docks and it is DARK at night.

I'm glad it helped! It seems to be a popular method.
