It depends on the child and how it fits them. You want the lap belt to be low on the hips and touching the tops of their thighs and the shoulder belt going across the middle of their shoulder. If you post pictures of the child in the seat we can let you know what we think of the fit.

Re: First Years Booster

Which model??

As the PP stated it all depends on how it fits your child.... but the B570 in particular seems to fit most kids well especially. The others its all dependent on the vehicle and build of the child. It did not fit my son well, so i don't own one - but it fits a friends DD perfectly so she owns two.

Try it out and see how it works for you

Honestly for $45 i would probably cancel it if you are not able to return it once you buy it. Target has Turboboosters on sale starting tomorrow for $35 and that is what i would buy. It fits every kid i have ever put in it really well

OP is in Canada. Seats are much more expensive there and they don't have the same sales. I don't think they have Target either.

$45 is a good price for that seat, and we up here in the great white north won't have Target until next year!
I had a Compass until recently, and was happy with it. Then we had a fender bender and had to get a new seat, so we tried the Britax booster. I like the compass for folding for storage. It is a great seat for a second seat IMO.

We are happy with ours. It's a good fit for my 7 year old dd, 45lbs & 47.5". She's very comfy in it and I love the folding, it is great to store it in the trunk for occasional use.
