Britax Marathon or Redian?

The steel frame is nice and make for a very sturdy seat but it is HEAVY. The box is deceptively small because it comes folded and holy crap does it weigh a lot. I did a search on car-seat.org and it appears that the Radian does fit rear facing in the Edge. The only think is that it does not work FF in the center because the headrest is not removable and interferes with the installation.
