yogurt making?
I have lots of cream set aside from my raw milk, id love to make yogurt (or cream cheese) with it! But all the recipes I find online talk about using whole raw milk... can I make it with just the cream?
Also, are there any yogurt makers out there that make the yogurt without heating it? I dont want to kill off all the good stuff in the raw cream

Re: yogurt making?
I don't think cream would be best for making yogurt, you need the lactose sugar I believe to help colonize the milk.
You could make ice cream though! I have recipe that uses maple syrup to sweeten instead of refined sugar if you'd like it. You can make raw milk yogurt without heating it if you buy specific cultures designed for that. Cultures for Health sells them I believe.
