Diaper Swappers

Can someone enlighten me as to how these work? They're not waterproof, correct? So do I need a cover with them? I want to try one, but want to make sure I know how they work before I order it.

Hi Tara,
The fleece pockets are actually my favorite! They are water proof, and more breathable than PUL. I have only tried the windpro. I love them! You just stuff like a regular pocket. I you want to splurg the combo of a night time sherpa insert with the windpro pocket takes us all night long! My guy is a serious super soaker.

I've only tried the wonder-full inserts. They are one size fits all pockets. I know they make a hemp, but I've got MF. I really like them in SEZ pul pockets.

Have a great fourth! You have so many fun diapers to choose from!! Hope you have one of those great Colorado Blue Sky days! We're finally having one here!

I've had both lightweight and midweight windpro fleece pockets and both were awesome for nighttime!! The fleece is super soft and if you stuff them appropriately for nighttime they won't wick or leak. I had a couple of lightweight windpro SEZ that I loved until DS outgrew them. Right now I'm totally in love with my midweight windpro fleece GAD. I've had less leaks with my windpro pockets than with BGs or FBs at nighttime. I'm so disappointed if my fleece isn't washed and dried for nighttime. HTH!

Edited to add: and I agree with SarahJane about the SEZ nighttime inserts. I have both a hemp and a sherpa one and they are totally awesome, worth the $$ IMO! And if you have a super super supersoaker or just want to be on the safe side, you can slip a MF doubler or CB insert inside, but my super heavy wetter has never fully soaked his SEZ nighttime insert.

I LOVE fleece pockets! I've never had a leak at night, and only compression leak I've had is with a 200wt and soaked insert.

Haven't tried SEZ, but both my kiddos wear fleece pockets or a fleece cover at night and they work wonderfully!

I love my BG's, but I'd like to have another option.
