Help with prefold fit

Just got my megaroos extended tab prefolds. I can't get it tight enough around her thighs. I tried using the tut on her website but it's just not working. I pulled the back up and had the dog eared look before pulling it over. Any tips? Here's a quick snap. I got the large size since she's 23+lbs and 13 months. Are they just not going to work for us? This is the better side.

My best tip for getting a better fit around the leg with any prefold (especially with a walking toddler!) is to make sure their legs are laying straight out and horizontal to the ground (not all tucked up) when bringing up the center part up between their legs and wrapping around the tabs.

Do they have snaps? For me, the advantage of prefolds is being able to customize the fit every time by using a snappi (or pins if you like but I can never get those tight enough). I also think having their legs flat helps. My newest babe isn't close to walking yet but since yours is, then maybe you want her to be in sort of the same position when you put the diaper on as when she'll be wearing it around. So frustrating! I hope you get it figured out and they will work for you -- your LO is super cute!

ETA - Do you have any issues once you put a cover on?

Some of them had snaps and some don't. I ordered some pins and a new snappi (where do those go to?) and they should be here tomorrow. My second diaper is better but still not tight enough.
Thanks for the compliment. I think she knows she cute b/c she is trouble.
