Affordable prefolds that quilt up beautifully?

I have Little Lions PFs that quilted up nicely! I find they are not quite as wide as I would have liked, but they definitely get the job done. I bought Premium size from when my son was about 3 months old (that's when he outgrew infants) and now he's 27 months old. I STILL have to fold the rise down about an inch unless I put them on w/bikini twist, then they are perfect.

Imagine Smart Fits are our go to squishably soft prefold. Very quilty

I love GMDs for their quilty softness. I bought all of mine off of FSOT and just stalked for good deals. I had no name UBIPFs and Chinese pfs with DS2 and they were never as quilty as my GMDs. Good to know about drying in between washes during prepping. I'm lazy and bought all of mine used so i didn't have too

I prepped mine by boiling them for 25 minutes and they are nice and quilty!

I love my GMDs and they are very affordable. I also bought some off FSOT and some new. My smalls were new (NB were used). I washed the smalls a few times to get the oils off then threw a few in everytime I washed the NBs. It got them nice and fluffy before it was time to use them without my having to do very many extra loads.
