When is/was your first appointment?

A couple weeks ago I've been in twice... had bloodwork twice and an u/s.

Next appointment is in 2 1/2 weeks I think. Guess I should have written it down

After 4 flat on my back awful hospital deliveries, we finally live somewhere with midwives. I love her, and am super excited to be ending my birthing years on a good note!!

I think the mid wife I met with today will probably be the one we go with now I just have to figure out the insurance thing. *crosses fingers* that pregnancy medicaid will get approved.

I didn't call our midwife yet because she'll probably schedule to come see me when I'm closer to 10wks. In another week or so I might call her to let her know and set up that appointment. I'm excited!

I go in Sept. 7th for u/s and first exam with my NP. I love my NP's, I will generally request to see a NP over a DR. But I also love the clinic I go to. All of the staff is super nice and helpful.

I can't wait to go in and see the tiny heartbeating. I will be a day shy of 7 weeks.

I am 9 wks right now, due on 4.2.12 and I am waiting for pregnancy medicaid to go through. I applied a month ago and haven't heard anything back yet so I am just waiting. I really hope I get to go in by like 13 wks but I'll just wait and see

I'm sitting here in the waiting room as we speak... It's ob nurse time whenever I get called in... I feel like all they do is stand around and chit chat :/ I've been sitting here for 20 min already ugh

Does medicaid cover mw or just labs, u/s, etc?

Gosh, I DREAM our medical card would cover mw...but it doesn't... But Illinois isn't allowed to have midwives deliver at home..they do it at a birthing center..and the closest one of those is ways away from me..
