Re: A little shy about posting here...
Well, I guess I'll let you guys know in a week or so what the verdict is. I'm a little nervous.... :/ DH is leaving for England friday and won't be back for over a month, maybe two. Then he's off again, state side this time. He's going to be gone ALOT this fall/winter (work). I reeeeeeeally don't want to be pregnant right now. It's going to be hard enough taking care of everything being a full time WOHM while he's away.....
I wish I knew my body better. I've read some of these posts about the different kinds of fluid. I think I ovulated last week based on the fluid. Just in case I'm wrong though, what does that look like? Creamy clearish? I feel really dumb asking this to but do you ovulate when you're pregnant? Isn't it a different kind of fluid?? Someone school me please!!!

Re: A little shy about posting here...
It sounds like you may be a little confused as to what ovulation looks like/when it occurs. Are you regular? Like every 28 days? If you are, then you will normally ovulate any time between day 11-14 after the 1st day of your period. Then after you ovulate, you should dry up until your period begins about 14-15 days later. Typical signs when you're ovulating - creamy, thick vaginal fluid. Sometimes you'll be a little more in the mood around this time. Also, you can check your cervix (kind of gross/graphic). Squat down & stick your finger up there - if your cervix is soft & more open then you are ovulating. I have only done this when I've been desperate.

Re: A little shy about posting here...
As far as I know, you cannot ovulate while pregnant because you're already pregnant. And just because you have fluid down there doesn't necessarily mean you're ovulating. It could be left from last night's "time" w/ DH

Re: A little shy about posting here...
Yes I am confused! LOL!! I do have a regular cycle and the fluids were pretty much the same as they always have been after my cycle. Soooo maybe I don't have anything to worry about? Maybe?

Just thought I'd drop in w my experience. I tried to avoid and was trying to track my cycles just in case my bc didn't work (ds was a product of recalled bc). Anyhow, I didn't have sex when I ovulated, only unprotected 5 days before, day after my period ended on the 6th day. So ya, it's possible. Sorry!
