BC safe for BFing

So with the baby so near I am wondering what birth control people use while breast feeding, I have heard some a not good to be on while breast feeding is this true? Also dont want a Birth control that will then take a year to "wear off" because we want to try for one more in a few years.

We will use condoms until I have regular cycles again and can use FAM. Not a fan, but am not comfortable with the other methods.

Though actually BFing seems to be a great form of birth control. Neither of us want to DTD while there's a baby on the boob. Works great!

What are the down sides to using other forms of BS while breast feeding?

You need to talk to your health provider. There are pros and cons to all types and they will help you figure out what is best for you.
