What a great thread! This was an hour before #3 was born, on our way to the hospital:

Re: Post-partum belly photos

Wow... I love all the pics. I looked horrendous w/ dd... can't imagine what I will look like once ds gets here. I gained 36lbs with dd and lost all but 10 lbs. I've only gained 10lbs in my 6 mos of pregnancy so far. Let's hope it doesn't go much farther than that

24 hours after I delivered. Ignore the messy bathroom...I swear its not that messy anymore! lol

Edit to say this could be my 48 hours photo actually? I cant remember! I'll have to check the date later...

I got REALLY lucky with my pregnancy.
Actually, the first pic was on February 19, 2008 2:14:02PM

and the second was March 13, 2011 7:11:46PM taken with a Kodak Easyshare C160 Digital Camera

I'm not sure what the point of lying about this is?
(I have an exif viewer integrated into my browser, I am a sysadmin, I did not go out of my way for this!)

The point of this thread is to be honest!

yeah i wasn't pregnant in February of 2008 (obviously since DD is only 8 months old) . guarantee you the other photo was taken between 24 and 48 hours after birth. The date on my camera is set incorrectly. Obviously since your smart enough to have the firefox app figured you could figure out that the date is set incorrectly.

And just to point it out The first photo was taken with a Kodak Easy share. The second photo was taken with an FZ28 since you can see the lens cap on it Kodak easy shares don't have a lens that requires a cap. Since you did go out of your way to try to point that out just thought I would as well.

Re: Post-partum belly photos

My belly is still completely horrid looking at 2.5 years pp. my skin is loose, saggy and literally covered in stretch marks. My bellybutton is hidden in the mess. It is awful. As soon as I know that I am done having babies, this mama is getting a tummy tuck! Unfortunately, nothing will help until then. *sniff. I guess 9lbs of baby in my 5'1" frame was just too much for my skin to handle... I popped straight out... And just kept going.
I'll post a pick tomorrow during my oldest DD's first day of kindergarten...

You're right! It's a different camera. I need to refrain from posting in my sleep deprived, hair falling out state. My apologies.

Re: Post-partum belly photos

igotmywings, that is CRAZY lucky that your uterus went down so fast! I looked 7 or 8 months pregnant still for the first few days!

This was the day after I had her (we were at a ceremony for my hubby's work):

These are both around 6 months post partum:

My belly just went back to the way it was...my babies grow UP instead of OUT which makes me VERY uncomfortable, but is good for my skin I guess!

Re: Post-partum belly photos

38 weeks pregnant

1 week PP

1 month PP

Im now almost 2 months PP and my tummy is still shrinking. It's looking hopeful that I'll get pretty close to my pre-baby shape.

This is such a neat thread! I will definitely take pp pics of my belly on the next one, if we are lucky enough to have another.
