Birthday Dress...

So my daughter is turning one year on the 7th, we are low on cash so I decided to revamp an old cabbage patch doll I had in the shed that was still in great shape. She had no clothes so I decided to make matching outfits for my daughter and her dolly. I used bandanna's that I got from Walmart for $1 a peice so I spent a total of $3 on the bandanna's and then got the ribbon on clearance for $1 and maybe used 0.20 cents worth. I am happy how they turned out

I still need to figure out how to make panties for the dolly and also socks but I can't seem to find a tute anywhere on how to do it. Anyone have any suggestions?

For panties maybe trace or freehand and then hold up to doll?

I was thinking of maybe just messing with something tonight on paper then trying with some fleece and seeing how it works out. I want her panties to look a bit like a cloth diaper and I have some pink fleece scraps so that may just work.

If you can't figure out socks, maybe make little shoes? That would be super cute!

Do you happen to know of any patterns for shoes? I would not even know where to start looking for those.

Thank you, I was surprised to find bandanna's in that fabric. I ended up making some hair ties out of the scrap and then I made some panties out of some pink fleece. They don't match really but they do make her look like she's got a cloth diaper on LOL I also used an old pair of yellow baby socks and she's looking good. I will post a picture of her and her baby tomorrow when she is in her dress and has her dolly <3
