Re: How long beforehand can you bake a cake?

ooo cakes made a few days before and stored correctly are yummier than fresh cakes!

eta: we leave our cakes on the counter until they're all gone (1-3 days), they just get better with time. Never gotten sick

Re: How long beforehand can you bake a cake?

Ok, so I think I might freeze it. I'm making a 6 layer rainbow cake for DD3's 4th b-day. I'm debating whether I should ice it on Fri. or wait until Sun....I think I might have to do it on Fri. b/c we have things to do on Sun. morning and I want to take her to the zoo.

I just don't think I have anything big enough to put that size cake in if it is all frosted. Unless my glass cake holder will fit?!?!??! Would that be ok?

Hmmm I wouldn't put glass in the freezer. Can you try to get a cardboard box? Or double wrap it in plastic or foil.
Good luck!
Never mind the typos. My "smart" phone is a high school drop out..
